Evelyn Solomon, LCSW
About Evelyn
Evelyn helps individuals and families navigate periods of significant change, adversity, and emotional difficulty. As the Founder of E Wellness Therapy, she has built a practice grounded in the belief that therapy should do more than provide insight. It should help people regain stability, reconnect with themselves, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Evelyn works with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, career and relationship changes, parenthood, loss, burnout, and other major life transitions. Her approach is particularly well suited to capable, high-functioning individuals who may appear successful on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or uncertain internally.
Evelyn’s Experience
Evelyn brings more than 25 years of experience across a wide range of clinical settings and populations. Her background includes working with foster children and families, trauma survivors, sexual assault survivors, military populations, individuals in crisis, hospitals, and community mental health, in addition to her work in private practice.
This breadth of experience has given her a deep understanding of how trauma, attachment, adversity, and major life transitions can shape the way people understand themselves, relate to others, and navigate the world.
As an NYU honors alumna and Board-Certified Specialist, Evelyn combines extensive clinical training with a warm, thoughtful, and individualized approach to care.
My Approach
Evelyn believes effective therapy should address the whole person. While insight and self-understanding are important, lasting change often requires developing new ways of responding emotionally, physically, and behaviorally.
Her integrative approach draws from evidence-based modalities including Trauma-Focused CBT, EMDR, Hypnotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Mindfulness. She thoughtfully adapts her approach to each client rather than relying on a single therapeutic model.
