Allison Falzone, LMSW

Allison Falzone is a Partner at E Wellness Therapy. She brings a warm, grounded, and practical approach to therapy, creating a space where clients can be candid about what is actually going on in their lives, not just what they think they should be feeling or doing.

Allison is known for helping clients slow down when everything feels overwhelming, make sense of complicated situations, and figure out what to do next. She pays close attention to the details of her clients’ lives, often remembering the small things that can be easy to overlook, and uses them to help clients recognize patterns, challenge assumptions, and identify practical changes. Her goal is for clients to leave each session with greater clarity and a better sense of how they want to approach the week ahead.

Before becoming a therapist, Allison worked in Human Resources across the finance and technology industries. Her experience working with professionals and leaders gives her an understanding of the pressure that can come with demanding careers, including feeling like you always need to be performing, making the right decision, or holding everything together. She earned her Master’s degree from Columbia University and has completed advanced training in anxiety, OCD, and maternal mental health.

Allison lives in Connecticut with her husband and daughter. She used to live in New York City for over a decade and still loves to travel back to the city.

Allison's Approach

Allison believes therapy should be both insightful and practical. She helps clients break down what feels overwhelming, understand the patterns underneath their struggles, and identify meaningful changes they can make in their everyday lives.

Her work focuses on couples, anxiety, OCD, new parenthood, and career challenges. She works with individuals and couples navigating major transitions, relationship difficulties, demanding careers, and the many changes that can come with becoming a parent.

For couples, Allison helps partners better understand each other's experiences, communicate more effectively, and move out of patterns of defensiveness, criticism, or disconnection. She draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and Relational Therapy in her couples work.

With individuals, Allison draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy. Her approach is tailored to the person and the problem rather than relying on one method.
